The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League presented an intimate Party of Note on April 11 with musician Erin Hannigan, Principal Oboe of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Adjunct Associate Professor of Oboe at Southern Methodist University. Cocktails and appetizers were prepared by the Up Close and Classical Chefs preceding the performance. The evening was hosted by Julie and O.B. Nelson in their Preston Hollow home, providing the opportunity to experience chamber music in the setting for which it was originally written. Proceeds will benefit the DSOL’s Education and Community Engagement programs. Parties of Note is a memorable series offering unique parties held in elegant private homes or venues, with dynamic architecture and stunning gardens, musical guest artists and wonderful gourmet menus.
