About Ann Barbier-Mueller

 
Dallas-born Ann Barbier-Mueller graduated from Highland Park High School and holds a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. In 1982 she married Swiss-born Gabriel Barbier-Mueller and together they have three children, Alexis, Niña, and Oliver – whom married three wonderful people – Bridget Barbier-Mueller, Katelyn Barbier-Mueller, and Trevor Tollett. Ann has been involved in a multitude of community organizations, including serving as the past Ball Chair of the Dallas Museum of Art, past Luncheon Chair of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, past Luncheon Chair of the National Kidney Foundation and past Luncheon Chair of Family Gateway. She is currently on the Board of TACA, the Board of Baylor Health Care System Foundation, and is a past Board of Trustees Member of the DMA and the DSO. Daughter Niña was a debutante in 2005 and sons Alexis and Olivier have served as Honor Guards.

Ann spends her time at her family’s ranch with friends and family and is relishing in her new role as a grandmother to Marie Gabrielle and Julien Tollett. Together with Gabriel they have established The Samurai Collection, making sure that the Museum was accessible to all. The Samurai Collection is one of the few museums in Dallas that is free and open to the public for the Dallas community and its families to enjoy.


About Gabriel Barbier-Mueller

 
Swiss-born Gabriel Barbier-Mueller is the founder and CEO of Harwood International in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Barbier- Mueller’s signature development is the award-winning District of Harwood in Uptown Dallas as well as his growing portfolio of properties and development projects in London, Beverly Hills, Zurich, Geneva, and Paris.

Mr. Barbier-Mueller is a member of the International Council of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MOMA) and is the Legacy Chairman of the Business Council for the Arts. He along with his wife Ann collect samurai armor and have created The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection located in Dallas.

He also serves as Honorary Consul of Switzerland for North Texas and is serving on the board of SMU’s Cox School of Business, past Executive Council Member of the Real Estate Finance and Investment Center at the University of Texas at Austin, and past Board Member of the School of Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin (’04 – ‘07) and past Board of Trustees Member of the Dallas Museum of Art. Gabriel is a former member of the Dallas-Lone Star Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and an active member of both World President’s Organization (WPO) and Chief Executive Organization (CEO).  He holds an Executive MBA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra League Presentation Ball is a magical evening honoring Dallas Symphony Orchestra Debutantes and their families. The Debutante season encompasses a year full of memorable experiences that bond our young adults and their families with the community and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The social season begins in early June with the formal Announcement Party and continues through the summer months. Special parties and events in November and December lead up to the Ball weekend. Festivities are planned in accordance with college breaks. 

Funds raised by this beautiful tradition support the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Education and Community Outreach Programs.

Pay Full Debutante Fee $13, 500

Pay Debutante Final Deposit $6,750
