
DSO ORGANIZATIONS Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) DSO is the largest performing arts organization in the Southwestern United States. Beyond performances at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, the orchestra reaches hundreds of thousands of adults and children each year through neighborhood events, educational programs, and the free Summer Parks Concert Series. Founded in 1946, the DSOL is the independent volunteer arm formed to support the DSO through fundraising, education, and community outreach. Members help run events, coordinate parties, and act as mentors for the new debutante classes. All funds raised and volunteer hours contributed by the Assembly directly support DSO’s education and community outreach programs.
